Amazing Indian Beach Wedding in Apulien, Italy

Janoo and Jastin live in the UK and love the sea, which is why the bride-to-be dreamed of a wedding on the beach, a dream that we made happen! This beautiful couple knew about us, as Janoo is the sister of one of our former brides. This is why we were absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to see their warm, welcoming family again and to be a part of another Indian wedding within their family unit. However, it was a challenge to find just the right venue, not only for the needs of the wedding itself, but also because the date coincided with a bank holiday in Italy, making it difficult to find a location that was available. But in the end we found just the perfect wedding venue. It was a seaside hotel in Apulien, in the beautiful town of Polignano a Mare, famous for its crystal-clear seas.

Beachside ceremony

The venue proved to be perfect for what the couple was looking for, as it had its own bay tucked between two cliffs, creating a naturally private beach and an ideal setting for the beachside ceremony. Here, the bride and groom were framed in a magnificent, raised gazebo decorated with fresh flowers and white, draping cloth. The chairs for the guests, arranged in a semi-circle, were instead decorated with beautifully contrasting pink bows. All of this, amid natural rock formations and the sea just a few feet away, created a truly enchanting atmosphere for the beautiful and emotional Hindu wedding to come. The handsome groom rode in like a knight on a white horse. And the bride was so beautiful that she reminded me of Sofia Loren. (By the way, the bride is a professional MUAH artist, and we highly recommend her services to all brides-to-be, whether Indian or not!)

This Indian beach wedding in Italy was truly beautiful and emotional, despite the summer heat. After that all enjoyed a half Apulian Italian, half Indian lunch. It was prepared in part by our talented Indian chef, as was the dinner for the wedding reception to follow. In the evening, the dinner banquet took place at an beautiful and exclusive seaside club just 3 km from the hotel. The wedding cake, a magnificent 5 tier, golden cake, was designed by the bride herself, a true work of art! and was served on a platform on the beach. Following the banquet there was of course music and dancing until late into the night, all joyously celebrating this Indian wedding made of dreams in Apulien.

The service that Svetlana and her team provided for our wedding was way beyond our expectations. We can’t thank them enough for creating such a beautiful memory for us. Every aspect of planning was spot on, no request was too big and Nearlly everything was possible. Such an amazing and pleasant team to work with. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Janoo, 6/4/17
