Romantic sunset civil wedding ceremony in Tuscany
Among the many beautitful and positive reasons there are to be married in Italy, there is a little known fact that Italy is one of the few countries in the world where you can celebrate a legitimate civil wedding. Therefore, when you chose one of Italian majestic Villas, that holds different luxury spaces perfect for hosting the various events over the course of three days, it seems a shame not to use as many of the spaces available. Indeed, Minal had every intention of using the romantic and peaceful private river that adorned the landscape at her chosen Tuscan wedding venue. In fact, she was determined to have a ceremony that would be legitimate in the U.K. without the need to have a second ceremony upon going back home.
Ceremony by the river
She pictured her white dress ceremony at sunset by the shores of the riverbed. The setting sun would bathe their ceremony in a golden light, a perfect Tuscan backdrop as she and Hiral declare their “I do’s” . The ceremony was staged in front of the river, an arch that would perfectly frame the couple and the landscape behind them, picturesque and romantic. An angular wooden archway was dressed in ethereal white material, complemented by a heavenly floral arrangement and tea light candles hanging in transparent jars; exactly as the bride had envisioned. As she gracefully glided in her beautiful chiffon gown, she appeared to be floating; her hair was worn down, and she helf her lovely white bouquet of hydrangea and peonies.
Hiral was very elegant and handsome in his suit, as he waited for his bride. Minal followed her bridesmaids, dressed in green gowns and holding bouquets of white babies’-breath. White and green were the official color scheme of the wedding. The reception was elegantly adorned by a long imperial table, with one large central hydrangea garland stretching along the center of the table, speckled by tea lights, creating a magical atmosphere. Before the dinner was served the guests were offered a welcome aperitif, a special cocktail decorated with edible flowers. The couple decided to have a tower of cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. The reception dinner was all Italian cuisine, with many wonderful traditional dishes, presented in the exact way the bride had specified during the planning phases. It cannot be stressed enough, that having a reliable wedding planner at your side will ensure that the ideas of the bride and groom be taken seriously and realized into the unique and special event that they imagined.
