About the founder
Ever since I was child I have been fascinated by Bollywood movies, by the gorgeous colors, by the dancing, and by the way the handsome hero conquered the heart of his beloved. The years passed, and I had the chance to open my own wedding planning agency. Since 2010 I have been helping couples from all over the world realize their dream destination weddings in one if the most beautiful countries in the world: Italy.
Then in 2015 my fate was sealed with the opportunity to organize my first Indian wedding. I immediately understood that these were going to be my favorite weddings to plan because of the meaningful traditions, the emotions felt between the two joining families, and the joy of sharing. At the same time, I came to know how unique and full of intricate details Indian weddings are and how many things need to be put together in order to realize a true Indian celebration which follows age old traditions.
Therefore I began to inform myself, to study, and also to analyze the market in Italy for Indian weddings. I discovered many gaps and a lack of preparation on the part of many agencies like mine when attempting to organize a true Indian wedding. Other planners agreed to organize them, thinking they would be nearly the same as any other, perhaps with just a change of decor. However, I feel one cannot truly plan a perfect wedding without knowing the culture inside and out. Therefore while other wedding planners agree to organize weddings for any nationalities, they fail to be able to learn about all the traditions and intricacies of each and limit what they can offer the couples. Instead, I decided to specialize in Indian weddings, as I feel them very close to my heart. I gave myself a mission: to become a true specialist of Indian weddings. But not only – to be the number one specialist in Italy, theteby able to give all I have to these fantastic couples who welcome me as a member of their families.
For this reason I have been on the hunt for authentic services of Indian ceremonies, Indian food, Indian decor, and Indian entertainment, all right here in Italy. I have studied the necessary steps to take that precede the marriage ritual itself, which take time and require planning and organization prior to the wedding. And most of all, I understand inside and out how a destination Indian wedding should be structured.
