Classy Sikh wedding in an elegant Villa in Tuscany
Renu and Gurpreet dreamed of a wedding in Tuscany, in the middle of the famous hills with cypress trees, vineyards and postcard landscapes. They are a Sikh couple who chose us to plan their outdoor Anand Karaj in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The couple planned 3 days of events in Italy, two of which were pre-wedding events and the last day being the wedding day. For the wedding they wanted a Villa that had a beautiful view and with the possibility of accommodating guests nearby.
Following the Venue Scouting service, after coming to Italy to visit some venues the couple chose a wonderful Villa on a panoramic hill with a wonderful view. A very elegant and classy villa, with lush gardens and neo-classical statues, truly one of a kind. They had no doubts since the beginning, even before coming to Italy, just by seeing it from the photos, they were sure that this would be their Villa. And once they came here, they only confirmed their choice.
No detail was left to chance during this Sikh wedding day in Tuscany
The wedding day was amazing. The beautiful bride arrived aboard a vintage car, a white Excalibur, accomapnied by her parents. While the groom did his baraat in a roaring red Ferrari accompanied by our Dhol player and his baraatis. Also the decor had been studied down to the smallest detail, not only to make everything beautiful and harmonious, but also to protect the guests from the sun, since it was an extremely hot day.
For the food we relied on a catering company with which we collaborate, which has an Indian Punjabi chef in the team. They prepared both the breakfast before the ceremony and the following lunch which was served on a terrace of the Villa. While for dinner a very rich Italian menu was chosen with various fish, meat and vegetarian courses. This way all guests could appreciate various dishes of the Italian cuisine.
Delicious desserts followed and the ice cream cart was a great success. The reception was set up in a round glass room, all open at the sides, where elegant golden candelabra and white flowers were chosen as the centrepiece. Even the children had a kids table set up especially for them, with crayons, drawing papers, candy and pinwheels to keep them entertained.
Guests danced under a roof of strings of fairy lights on a stage set up in the landscaped garden, creating a romantic atmosphere. And let’s not forget about the cake, the bride and groom chose an Italian millefeuille on various levels. The cake cutting was done in this panoramic space during the sunset with the Tuscan hills in the background. It was a fairytale wedding that will surely remain in their minds for the years to come.
