Glamorous legal wedding in Tuscany
Now more and more Indian couples are choosing to celebrate the traditional Indian wedding as well as the real legal wedding in Italy, thanks to the special concessions that Italy offers. And this glamorous couple from UK, Sanjit and Harpreet
Civil ceremony
The civil ceremony was held under a large round iron gazebo in the garden. We arranged the chairs encircling the shape of the gazebo. Each chair was accessorized with Indian fans decorated with the couples’ logo. To accentuate the natural beauty of the environment, instead of the usual arch, the bride chose to have columns and large vases in Tuscan stone filled with flowers and large green leaves. Sanjit wore a long Pronovias’ mermaid dress, sparkling silver Jimmy Choos and carried a delicate bouquet of mixed flowers. While Harpreet and his groomsmen put boutonnieres on their jackets which were made of the same flowers of the bridal bouquet. For this wedding, the bride chose flowers of various shades of pink, to match the delicate roses of the villa’s garden.
The bride walked down the aisle with her father and uncle, forerun by two little flower-girls. In the background the music played by the harp and violin, with music chosen by the newlyweds who wanted both classical and modern music with a classic twist. During this glamorous ceremony the bride’s brother-in-law recited a love poem, after which the celebrant read the laws that regulate the civil wedding in Italy. And at the end, the spouses exchanged rings, with a thunderous applause of their 200 guests.
Right after the ceremony, everyone raised their glass full of iced Champagne to toast to the new Mr. and Mrs. While the guests enjoyed a buffet lunch, the newlyweds had their photo session in the private part of the villa, by the pool and in the olive grove, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan landscapes.
